Well, seeing that we already know what the Terminal Disc says, you're wrong. It doesn't even mention them, except for the one hidden in Ovan's arm and...possibly, the Anti-Existence.
Neither Cubia nor Morganna existed at the launch of the World.i think, if i had to assume
the AIDA problem started with the launch of R:2
it jus went unnoticed until now
lyk how the Cubia/Morganna existed at the launch of The World
it jus went unnoticed
except for the folders
until Kite and the whole craziness events
Understanding them and knowing they're there are two entirely different things. As far as he knows. He's still (supposedly) struggling to understand them by Vol. 2, so I don't think his early impression is 100% reliable...
What? Morganna did, she is The World...AuraTwilight wrote:Neither Cubia nor Morganna existed at the launch of the World.
Different, but intimately related. You don't know you're sick until you develop symptoms. That doesn't mean you aren't infected before then, but you can't tell until the symptoms appear. It would be easy for someone with no modern medical knowledge to think that the symptom itself was the disease, but that would be incorrect. I actually think this is more what Yata is thinking, since he believes the AIDA must be studied further before anything can be done...AuraTwilight wrote:Understanding them and knowing they're there are two entirely different things.
Actually, no, if I remember correctly those are just Aura's segments (or player's spirits, or something like that), but inverted... They're different from the black spots in G.U., I'm pretty sure that their "earliest appearance" is in the prototype trailer, though that really doesn't mean that they couldn't have been around before. You never see TSN for crying out loud, and Yata seems to not know too much about that either...TenshiNoYami wrote:Previous point?
I dont know if its been stated already
But has anyone noticed that the black orbs
The ones in the white rooms
Or...
u kno
Lyk the one Endranse is playing with in the first preview
Are the same black orbs that appear
at the end of the opening video

From what I read about the terminal disc report "Gathering of the Unwilling" Jun was afraid of the anti-existence that the braclet created with Cubia. He then wondered if the Epitath-PCs would do the same.TenshiNoYami wrote:I don't think anyones earliest impression of an AIDA is reliable. There not even supposed to exist so how could people get a grasp of them in the first encounters. Though if anyone were to know anything it would be Yata. I think he's hiding something. Downplaying what he knows.
So in other words the AIDA may have come from the fallen Epitath weilders (becauase of their inability to handle the epitath).

If the Terminal Disc can be trusted, then I think the closest thing we had to "AIDA" back then was Cubia.pekerman wrote:maybe i´m wrong but what i understand is The AIDA were present in 2010, at the time of Kite & co, but we didn´t see thoseAuraTwilight wrote:actually...
The AIDA, if anything, would've come from the existence of the Phases in PC form. Not nessessarily the original Epitaph Weilders.
You know, maybe we're making too big of a deal over Azure Kite's appearance - people have been racking their brains trying to figure out how CC-Corp could have broken into Kite's data and replicated it, when maybe AK's avatar is just a coincidence. Maybe one of the programmers on the TSN team just thought it would be cool to give their bots a Kite-type skin, as a nod towards this guy being a new defender for The World.
Heck, maybe they were all just Descendent of Fianna fanboys?
Basically, I think a lot of the early "inversion-theme" theories (the Phases are now good, while Kite is the force of evil) are starting to fall apart. Azure Kite seems to be completely independent of the user and account he's modeled after. He and his cronies have no personalities, and their role in the story so far has been revolving around one giant trick by the writers (Jinkies - it was old man Ovan all along, Scooby!). Heck, AK, or TSN - whatever he is, doesn't even get mention in the Terminal Disc, which is where the real mysteries get vague explanations.
Azure Kite's form seems less story-related and more about catching the early attention of fans by providing connection to generation one.
