I'm not sure what I expected for episode 24, but this was not it. I wasn't expecting these events until next week.

And once more, a minor and/or major inconsistency with what we think we know. This is not the fight we've seen before, and its aftermath is also... somewhat different. I'm beginning to wonder if the inconsistency between depictions of events in the game, anime, and manga may itself be an important plot point.

My guess is 25/26 is one big closure-fest, or a non-canon episode ike Intermezzo/Unison.

How were Intermezzo and Unison non-canon? Well, aside from slightly conflicting with Blackrose's email in G.U....

Did I say non-canon? >.< I meant non-linear. Like, outside of the timeline of the regular flow of the series like Intermezzo an Unison were.

Hmm, maybe the 1-hour special is mostly about what Phyllo and Tabby (and everyone else) were doing, while Haseo was doing all his things in the game.

That does seem likely, we still need to know what happens to Tabby, Phyllo, Touta, Saburou, Seisaku, Hideyo, Pirokio, Iita, and possibly even Wool and Cashmere.

I'm especially curious as to the fate of Saburou, the fact that she saw Haseo fight Tri-Edge was very interesting. Unfortunately, ** *****'s domestic problems have left me incapable of seeing Episode 23 or 24... ¬_¬

Would anyone here be kind enough to give us a summary of what the Screenshots can't tell us? I want to know the order of events and what is being said.

Particularly the exchange between Saburou and Touta at the end of Episode 24.

Touta enters.
Saburou: Did you see it too?
Touta: I didn't see anything. What happened?
Saburou: Haseo...

Touta: Calm down. What happened to Haseo?

This is not the place to debate about the efficiency of sub groups, their are such thing's as opinion's and when you feel your opinion on a specific group is superior, you are in the wrong and it is best to abstain from the thought, nonetheless post it.

When you said the fight ended differently, were you referring to the fact that Haseo was deleted?

If Saburo assumes Haseo has been deleted and tells Tohta this then that would explain why neither of them try to contact Haseo throughout Rebirth.

Saburou saw the battle..that can't be there =/

They better tie her up somehow or else alot of epople will be angry at this o.o;

It's not a screw up, Saburou remained well hidden while ?stalking? Haseo. It is not uncanon for her to be there, And as Umbra said it also expalins the reason why they don't try to contact him in Rebirth.

O.o Messed up in what way? Like I said, Saburo's witness of the fight between Tri-Edge and Haseo could explain why no one contacts him in GU, because they all think he's deleted.

The next two episodes will probably show us what events occurred between Tabby, Phyllo, Saburo, Tohta, Seisaku and Hideyo during the events of Rebirth, as we need to know that.

You must remember that Roots and Volume 2 are meant to be intertwined in a previously unforseeable manner, we already know we see Phyllo again so maybe we'll meet the other characters. I'd love to be able to actually interact with Saburo in Volume 2 of GU, maybe even have her as a Party member.

Not at all, during Rebirth people are talking about Haseo's current exploits all over The World and the BBS, there's no concievable way Tohta wouldn't know that he's back if he was still playing... He's an Emperor and (still) a famous hardcore PKKer for crying out loud...

But I wonder if they can even contact him since every member in his member list was erased.
Expect if it didn't work in poth ways then I can't see why they haven't contactd him.
It isn't that easy to meet someone in The World if they haven't made an apointment with eachother.

I don´t think so..... Maybe any of them might be defeated, DDed or simply pursued, by T-E. (or maybe they simply quit because they no longer make contact w/ Haseo).

Like Midori, she witnessed the fight between T-E and Ovan, and later, she escaped from him.....

Saburou was not obsessed over Haseo though, she stayed because she enjoyed the game. Though it's interesting that Saburour and touta know one another, with her having no prior knowledge to Touta being Tawaraya.

Touta doesn't nessessarily have to know anything. If you recall, he's leaving soon to study abroad, where he won't be able to play for some time.
