I don´t think that it could be so simple.... The AIDA inside Ovan´s locked may be hiding something to gave birth something else (or Rebirth, just as Cobernik´s name attached to Ovan´s PC). Ovan must search The Key of Twilight in order to do/prevent (1 of those 2) gIve birth that something inside his arm.Kuukai wrote:I don't think he's infected, or his AIDA wouldn't be "locked" and he'd actually show some sign of infection...AuraTwilight wrote:Or it could be as simple as Ovan looking for the Key of the Twilight to get rid of his AIDA infection.

Well he's certainly not keeping it as a pet. I think the AIDA or whatever initially tried to infect him, but he managed to lock it up to keep him from being mentally contaminated and whatnot. Regardless, I don't think he wants it.I don't think he's infected, or his AIDA wouldn't be "locked" and he'd actually show some sign of infection...

No, there's nothing to imply he either wants or doesn't want it. But by Occam's Razor, I'm gonna assume it's something he's afraid of or doesn't want, but until he can get rid of it, he's making lemons into lemonade. On the one hand he can use it to fend off Tri-Edge, but on the other hand, Tri-Edge won't attack him if he doesn't have it.

It does seem that Tri-Edge is afraid of it, but is Ovan? Sure, it's locked up in his arm and all, but he could have it there on purpose. Getting himself infected, or whatever the case is, and then locking it up sounds like something Ovan would do. If everyone in G.U. is a chess piece, Ovan seems to be the one moving them all and the AIDA in his arm could just be another one of those pieces. No chess-master fears the pieces they are moving. Of course, this is just a random shot out there, since Ovan very well could be afraid of it. But that knowing smirk he has whenever he releases it leads me to think otherwise.
I think he knows its potential and since he can lock it back up it would show he has great control over it. As for that theory i think its fair to say its true. Or he is afraid but he is running with it anyway. Maybe its a scenario that: Would I rather be taken out by T-E or by the power in my left arm?azure_flames wrote:It does seem that Tri-Edge is afraid of it, but is Ovan? Is it possible that T-E read over what Kite did in the previous games and is now hunting down the Epitaths and other possible flaws in the system just like Kite did. And because of the relationships Balmung and Orca had the data that took their bodies decided to use them for that purpose. To assist T-E.

i think something along thouse lines because i remember in roots episode 13 or 14(the one where shino gets data drained) he appered in the grid and fixed a piece of the grid that looked meesed up. what is the purpose of tri-edge? and now he has bulmug and orca..what could they be doing?!Ignus wrote:Is it possible that T-E read over what Kite did in the previous games and is now hunting down the Epitaths and other possible flaws in the system just like Kite did.
i think because they are corrupted to an extent they believe the epitaths are a threat to the world (which they may be) However they are AIDAs. I think strong AIDAs found the avatars of the azure knights. Not only that but they read their logs.
I havent played volume 1 but isnt it possible that the AIDA took over Pai just to get information on powerful players, past and present. If its true then Orca and Balmungs data wouldve stood out above the others. And for that reason it may be why those avatars were chosen out of the rest. While Kite being the main lead of the 4 part series is chosen to be the antagonist. However due to his actions he cant litteraly "repair" so its possible T-E was intended to work in the world omniously.

Sorry about this, but I think this ishould be here as well as the other thread so I'll post my guess here as well.
This trailer reminds me of the DC comics, towards the infinite crisis series where all the heroes are going crazy turning on one another and Ovan (Luthor) pulling the string from everyone behind the scene Smile. Just a synomyn but that what the series is starting to look like Smile.
Since its gonna be a guess, the lines I think what will happen is probably that Ovan a character from the old world and is trying to restore this world to the original state in THE WORLD:R1 (along the lines of Transformers series' names G1 for the first series of transformers G2 for second series, Beasts Wars etc) or at least trying to create a perfect world as seen by Alexander Luthor in the Infinte Crisis Comic Book series. There were massive hints during the past trailers and the anime which state that the world is in such a choatic state, and Ovan seen as the saviour is trying to reform the world into the ideal world which players can play in, you could even say that Tri-Edge is Superman Earth 2 who has awakened to the cause of who is causing this much chaos (similar in the first issues where Superman Earth 2 was oblivious to what Alexander Luthor was doing). Well thats my conclusion of whats happening in this series.
There is an underlying purpose of why The World is in the choatic state, and I'm guessing it is this theory.

Of course, I'm just trying to guess the ending and there are a few reasons why Ovan is doing what is he doing. I ain't gonna say whats inbetween since there could be 10 000 actions that could happen seperately. He's trying to change the game for some odd reason and there has to be a motivation behind it. I could bring a complete seperate metaphor, to make understand you my theory a bit better but I might offend some patriots if I mentioned it. If I'm allowed to mention it I can tell you, but I have to tread carefully..Scythe wrote:i dont know alot about DC but i kinda like ur idea. the reason i dont FULLY support it is because this series has a reputation for being MUCH more original and unexpected, plus ur theory isnt to supported. nice try though
It's a pretty original idea but DC Comics have bet them to the punch, as it takes at least 1000 times quicker to make a comic than it does to make the game, and has some revealence to the present situation in our world which Japanese games like push some saying into the game.
