Aura left like a year before the fire, dude. The fire happened because of Aura's absence, not the other way around.

Aura left----> CC Corp tries to make a new Aura----->They **** up----->Fire----->Now.

She did? I thought it was CC Corp causes fire to try removing need of the Black box, Aura vanishes, they use some Data from old "The World" and they then #### up and the Twilight rebegins.

Here's a somewhat more complete chain of events.
Aura vanishes----> CC Corp decides to replace her----> Genius programmer is a megalomaniac who wants to merge himself with the new Ultimate AI----> Genius programmer's program isn't as perfect as he thinks----> Genius programmer's mind snaps when program is run, at the same time that some 80% of The World's data is instantly lost----> Insane genius programmer starts fire----> Rush effort to create R:2----> Current buggy version of The World.

Just because he was insane doesn't mean he was a wheelchair-bound cripple or something. Insane people can still perform everyday tasks. They still have reason. Their perception of things is just contorted into insensible garbage.

Insanity isn't hallucination, it actually does imply a lack of reason, though I agree with your main point. For some reason I always pictured CC as a place where the internal wiring resembles the rest of Japan:

The newest trailer is cool, I can't wait to see what Innis's avatar looks like.

It seems Sakaki has been possessed by an AIDA though. Poor guy. :p

it looks like Ovan's arm was cut off... what that implies is anyone's guess. oh yeah the song that played during the trailer was 'great'.

Damn, that trailer for Volume 2 was interesting. It almost looks like TriEdge is trying to stop Ovans arm thing. It seemed like Ovan was the bad guy there.

well, in roots, Ovan uses the AIDA in his arm to stop Triedge...or at least you see the black spots from it in a reflection...i may be wrong.

about the trailer what the floop is with that giant flash/line thing that goes accros the world and hits everyone and they look like they get deleted...its at 1:04 through 1:07

That appears to be whatever stopped the players from logging out, they were, apparently, sent to a dummy server early on in the game by the AIDA.

so anyone in that sever at that time cant log out? or is it the whole the world?wonder what could have caused it

It looks as if everyone logged into The World at that time are now unable to log out...

What happens to them outside of the game is currently unknown.

Actually, it's not quite unknown. Apparently the people unable to log out are perfectly healthy in the real world, but they're unable to realize that the World isn't real and believe they're actually there.

Well not neccarily psychologigal damage. This whole unable to log out thing is connected to AIDA, isn't it? And don't the AIDA somehow "give" the person what they want. Atleast it has been said several times in some places.
So, for those that would want The World to be real, it would be real in a sense. What ever their reasons would be that they would wish just a thing.
And I'm sure there are lot of people who would like it to be real.
Unless I'm completely wrong.

No, they don't feel pain or anything. It's just that they no longer realize they're playing a game. It's like a dream. You only see and hear things, and you can feel the sheets and pillows under you, but you don't realize you're dreaming at all.
