New Trailer(s)
you never know what happens in an anime/video game. I mean it "may" or "may not" im just sayin it would be funny if he turned into Gorre or another version of an avatar. And more importantly how does this Alcor intertwine with the new .hack media as a whole. Whats his connections to these characters? Maybe another manga wouldnt be a bad idea

Alcor isn't a person as far as we know, it's just the title of the new manga... And all we know is what we've told you... Umm, I don't think it's that unlikely, if it runs long enough, that it will have Endrance defeat Yowkow. I mean, we didn't get to see that, it's a whole section of the story that's unexplored...
I guess Alcor would act like GU's AI Buster, which is quite odd considering the connection between the names Nanase and Hokuto...
I guess Endrance could show up near the end of the series, I mean if its about Yowkow's days as champion then they will want to explore that for quite a while, don't you think?
But I'm interested now, needless to say, I will want a summary and a few pictures of the characters.

Holy crap...
The text:
The true enemy...
Lies beyond...
Your imagination.
Ovan: "Pursuers, I can't let you go any further"
Haseo: "You fought Tri-Edge?!"
Ovan: *choking sound*
Ovan: "I'm out of time"
Haseo: "Ooooooovvvvvaaaaaaannnn!!!"
I wouldn't give the timing of quotes too much consideration, they're usually taken out of context...
Oh, also, following up on the previous subject, apparently Nanase is a Yowkow-type Twin Sword...

Man! That's amazing!
He said Pursuers? That's interesting, since this is not the first time of Ovan fighting with Tri-edge, and since in the anime Ovan manage to survive the Tri-edge data drain attack with the AIDA. I guess Tri-edge is trying to do something to Ovan's PC and uses Balgung&Orca for help.
But what? Since this time the GU project objective is to achieve the final A.I. by giving the epitaphs to players, I guess Tri-edge is getting them back like the old Kite have done while he was the by the "good side" so that's the meaning of the random data draining he does to players.
For me the story is kinda repepeating again, what the G.U. project have supposed to have like result of that? At this rate Tri-edge will be the next Aura....
Oh, and one more thing, Shino and ovan were kinda friends in real life right? I think Ovan is affected by a un-curable sickness and plays "The World" trying to find the Key of Twilight and realize his will to survive. What you think about? (I know it's kinda dragonballish)

thats an interesting idea about Ovan. it would work but the only thing is there would be no existing evidence anywhere to prove that.
what about the 6 lost grounds? from back then we only confronted one lost ground. that is grima lowe. delta hidden forbidden holyground. now we're confronted with not 2 not 3, but 6 lost grounds. i've heard each of them start with the keywords hidden forbidden and all in delta server. what could these lost grounds have to do with the story? ie; the statue of aura bound by chains in the past now all that remains are shackles. what importance do the other lost grounds play accoarding to thier role in the epitaph? how does that translate to what is going on now?

Well his phrase:
Thx to Kuukai
Ovan: *choking sound*
Ovan: "I'm out of time"
And his kind of character (you know always with a sleepy kind of mood, silent, almost sad, make me think about he isn't not so healthy) make me think about it...
6 lost grounds? I didn't know there are many, thx for the information, in the terminal disc reports Jun (one of the GU project) clearly said Aura have left for become something else after the deleting of "The World" with the "Harold System", I think it's weird the fact they've leaved the shackles but at least aura will surely don't appear in GU, or if yes, it will not be the Aura we all know, The GU team will make a newer one, and I still have doubs she will really become Aura instead of Morganna...coz if I'm right the epithaph users now are parts of the Aura bad feeling, but they are both his counterpart, so since they've inverted the role of the phases (from monster to players) why not invert the role of Aura with Morganna?

I don't know where you got the idea that anyone said Aura had died from, because that hasn't been mentioned anywhere... ¬_¬
The second advertisement is rather intriguing, particularly the confirmation of Tri-Edge's apparent resurrection, which suggests it happens early on in the game.
Is it just me or does Tri-Edge seem somewhat less zombie-esque in this advert? Apart from the stylistic addition of a second eyeball, he has a more... human expression. He also appears more powerful, apart from complementary Balmung and Orca fuzz, he also has glowing eyes and a rather superior expression.
I'm also inclined to believe the picture of Tri-Atoli was, indeed, a fake. There is simply too much evidence to suggest that the Azure Knights and the AIDA are opposing forces for Tri-Atoli to be a reality...
...unless the Azure Knights are attacking the AIDA because of what they did to the three of them...which I haven't discounted.
I'm stumped when it comes to theories based on what Atoli's infection will lead to, suffice to say she isn't an ordinary AIDA-PC.

Sorry I've misread the thing about Aura, I've edited it now.
Yeah Tri-Atoli it's a bit too weird for the actual storyline where the only "TRI" version of the characters are from the previous "The World", and about the Atoli infection we still have to learn how the black matter works with the epitaph, do the PCs already have it inside and the black matter (AIDA) can awake it under his control? (See how Pai are were constricted to fight Haseo) Or do the black matter contain the epitaph too and choose the PC to make a Epitaph User?
Yata in //Roots says "his epitaph is about to awake", but we don't remember Haseo being attacked by the black matter, so I've the guessed about the chance that the AIDAs are just trying to get the phases under their control (just like with Endrance "The Tempress")

Akihito> I'm not sure how much of the terminal disc you've seen/read, but Project G.U. fails. "G.U." is a current CC Corp organization run by Yata, but it at least seems to have a different purpose...
The black spots are completely different from the epitaphs (though Ovan says they are related). No, even Epitaph Wielders start the game without the substance in them, and will only have it if they become infected by an AIDA, which can be removed with data drain...

I know that, but since Yata himself have not declared his goal, we have just the "old" objective of the G.U. project, and Yata is still monitoring the epitaph wielders just like old project G.U. have done, this is just my tough about, but at least I think they are still trying to create the ultimate A.I.
Regarding the AIDAs, it's not clear for me but Endrance Cat was the "phisical" form of the AIDA that have infected him?

i'm looking at all of this as if i've i'm going through Rebirth and have only read the first for parts of the terminal disk. under this assuption i would be thinking the revival of rather 'replacement' of Aura to be thier initial intent. however i think up until the 2nd volume up to the 3rd volume, that is what we are being led to believe. Watching the bit between Ovan and Tri-edge, Balmung, and Orca got me thinking. Something is not right.
