But anyway, does anybody have any speculations about "the limited edition guys in the painful forest"?
Hehe, all we are doing is putting our chips in to see if the person is Tawaraya or not. There's always a point in doing this for fun, since there is nothing much we lose anyways as we are gamblers at heart :). Just things the boy says in the conversation between him and Pai leads to him being Tawaraya like "you could delete this character if you wanted to" and as such.

The statement hasnt 'disprove' the same person playing Tawaraya is indeed Saburou, you should say its more unlikely that Saburou is Tawaraya we arent doing theories just guesswork.

One thing I saw on a Japanese website (the one that was up here not that long ago) was a connection between Saburour and Tawaraya, and they showed two pictures, When Tawaraya was suspended, he did the same hand gesture that Saburou does, that was their argument.

EDIT: One thing I find strange about all this is that there is only one chain in the Grima Lowe (Ray?) Cathedral, I wonder which phase it belongs to? Or was it just Aura trying to keep her mother's memory alive in the chain. "Morganna created the statue and chain's to show Aura that no matter where she would run they would hunt her mercilessly". A testament to her ego, if you will. "You haven't won yet! Not as long as I'm still around!" I believe that's what I read on the subject..

I think the unhooked chain represents how Aura has broke her bindings to the World and abandoned it.

LOL Episode 15 was so cute and funny! Kuhn is officially my favorite character. XD

That was the episode where Shino was Data Drained, becoming a pivotal part of Haseo's history and character development. But you should probably watch the first 12 episodes too.

Roots, like SIGN has to be watched in order. It's a continuing story, so you really need to start at episode 1 and go through the rest of the series.

Episode 15 was like a filler episode.

According to 4Chan, Roots 15 from Za Warudo is "The Best Fansub Ever."

I agree.

After hearing people talk about ZW's version of episode 15... I'm so glad I went with LP this time instead.

Apparently the translator did it intentionally to annoy people. At least according to some transcripts I read of ZW's IRC channel.

I'm guessing that you mean the overbearing use of 'netspeak'. It was slightly anoying to me too, but you must remember that they are playing a (an?) MMORPG. I've never used the phrase 'where we were owned' when speaking out loud though, even while playing an online game.

Yeah... I mean I know the Japanese have their own internet dialect. But in my experiences playing with JP people online, I have never seen them use anything like 1337. So I feel it was just a poor translation, which the translator already admitted it was (Apparently she doesn't like Roots all that much, and since 15 was basically a filler ep she decided to slack off).

Those JP players have some damn scary smiley's though. As well as the allmighty w and orz.

i think we will see the beginning of Haseo's terror of death personna by the next episode. from the previews he seems to be lurking around and the shot of the grunty over cast by haseo's shadow is a bad omen. the episode is listed as 'Resolution' so we should see some plot advancement next air time. Ovan speaks! as laughable as it sounds Ovan's voice actor returns to voice none other than... Ovan! *end sarcasm*.

did anyone notice scene where Phyllo saw the leaf blowing across the water? that is very symbolic of Kuhn's avatar, Magus; The Propagator.

I did notice that, which I found strange, I thought something was going to happen. He does have his avatar at this time, right?

I dunno. At this point he's probably just an Epitaph Carrier. Sort of like Haseo, from what I can tell the Avatars only come out after certain traumatic events.

there isn't anyway of knowing at the moment. i would assume from Kuhn's nature, Magus would find him an appropriate host to inherit the propagation. i would say that at least.

I found ep 15 interesting from Kuhn's perspective.

In G.U.  you find out he used to be second in Kestrel, before leaving ot create his own clan, Canard which Haseo ends up inheriting. From the way ep 15 went it looks like this is the events that lead him to leave Kestrel and make Canard.
