Or Break Blade in Japanese. Has anyone seen it? I don't want to spoil it for anybody, but I want to know what you thought of it so far. This character on the cover caught my eye.

Re: Broken Blade
read the manga a bit, the fact that it also makes practical use of mech's is what interested me.
Re: Broken Blade
I haven't read any of it. How is their mech usage practical?

Re: Broken Blade
Its kinda like Z.O.E instead of treating robots like super gigantic gods like mazinger z (WHICH I HATE!) it portrays the mechs like any other military vehicle.
Re: Broken Blade
Ah, so they're treated more like tanks and less like Gundams. That's pretty cool. I may look into this series.

Re: Broken Blade
Not quite the same. Gundam has tanks which a single Zaku I can take down dozens of and only have to stop to reload. And then you have Gundams which are nigh unstoppable engines of destruction.

Re: Broken Blade
yes but their more like "special" variants of regular models so they can still be considered practical, like Z.O.E the main mech Jehuty is a "twin" of Anubis, despite Anubis being far more developed than Jehuty but the reason for Jehuty outdoing Anubis is due to the skill of the frame runner and the fact that Anubis' Frame runner was insane.
