Hobby painting
I was doing my usual coloring of Gundam models with a perma marker when my younger sister suggested I just paint them, however, she suggested using professional tools for the job, she means the same stuff tabletop gamers use to color their pieces, now before I go on Amazon and start browsing and ordering, does anybody have any personal experience with hobby model painting? And no, painting a picture doesn't count and neither does doing your nails count.

Re: Hobby painting
I have personal experience looking at cool painted figures. like warhammer and other stuff, even gundam. But I don't think that really helps does it.
Re: Hobby painting
I cringe at the thought of using permanent markers for painting model kits.
I've heard airbrushing is one of the easier methods. You should probably look at a kit-related forum (perhaps ask around on MFC)

Airbrushing is easy? No thanks, tried that, ruined a perfectly good model, and besides, I only use the Markers on weapons and accessories, not the actual models themselves, I use pencils instead.Falions wrote:I cringe at the thought of using permanent markers for painting model kits.
