Signature policy

Postby Maromi » Fri Jun 16, 2006 6:07 pm

A few weeks ago, we turned off signatures, mostly because some feel the need to have unnecessarily massive pictures in their sigs, or stack three+ pictures on top of one another. I'm enabling signatures again; but if people can't stay within 600x150 pixels, they're going back off; it's not fair to those with slower connections. This, also, doesn't mean you can stack two 600x150 images. If you're using two pictures in your sig, they have to stay within the 600x150 (if you can't get exactly 600w or 150h right on the dot, that's fine. (i.e. 605x153)) That's more than enough space. Also, I ask those of you whose signatures currently exceed that limit to make adjustments, so we don't have to do it for you. With text, try to use your own judgment, and don't skip a bunch of lines for only a few words to make your message box annoyingly huge. I don't think this is too much to ask.

Oh, and this won't be in the forum rules right away, so refer to this in the meantime.
