I've played some of it. I'm on day 8 on fate's path, but to get to the other paths you have to complete Fate, UBW, then HF. and yes it's all talking. it's a visual novel after all. The only one that I know of that has some fighting in it that i've played is Koi-Hime muso.

I named him Kai. though at first I thought Kite was pronounced Keyteh then I was told it was pronounce Kite.
